Special congratulations to our very own Rabbi Korngold who received the 2009 JNF award. Spring Visit '07
Rabbi Jamie Korngold was here for her 2nd visit the last week of April.As usual, she put a different twist on things.She brought everyone outside for silent meditation and a prayer as it was a beautiful night.Her sermon was about questions we may have: Why is the Challah Covered? and other interesting facts.A Tot-Shabbat was before services and on Saturday, a children’s service and an adult study session was held.
Scholar-In-Residence
Rabbi Jamie Korngold from Boulder, CO is our Scholar-in-Residence.She comes to us three times a year for Shabbat services, tot Shabbat and an always enlightening study session.
Rabbi Jamie is best know as The Adventure Rabbi. Our congregation is always welcome at her skiing services at Copper Mountain, hiking in Boulder or on her outdoor spiritualtrips.Her calendar is on her website.She has been on Good Morning America and has a book just published by Doubleday called God In The Wilderness
It is always a joy to have her with us.She brings her guitar and adds some music to her services.She enjoys spending time with our youth and with all our congregants.She has been known to recite from memory Dr. Seuss as her sermon.
